You can find free after school workshops at the American Visionary Art Museum who keeps regular hours of 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Sunday and their Kinetic Sculpture Race event in May is a can’t miss.
There are nearly 100,000 works at The Baltimore Museum of Art which is open from 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Sunday while staying open late until 9pm on Thursday including over 1,000 from Henri Matisse and it is highly recommended that you check out their Sculpture Garden while you are there.
The Walters Art Museum is free for everyone and has a massive collection that spans from 5,000 BCE to the current day with over 36,000 objects from all around the world that you can view Wednesday through Sunday. They also offer local art lessons and art-making workshops for all ages and experience levels.
Anyone that wants to rent a studio in your area can try do so at Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower.
The Crystal Moll Gallery is open from noon to 6pm Wednesday through Saturday offering art consultations, custom framing, installations, conservation, and some of the works on display are for sale.
From 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday and until 5pm on Saturday you can visit Renaissance Fine Arts where you can enjoy the largest collection of fine art in the Mid-Atlantic including original works by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, and Warhol. You can also try out their art consultations and they provide custom framing too.
