The 17-hectare Home Of The Arts (HOTA) facility in Evandale has been a location of nearly continuous expansion and transformation since its inception.

The Level Up Studio and Gallery is run by the city and is a one-of-a-kind community arts venue with three main components: the Level Up Residency, the Level Up Gallery, and public activities. The studio was created to provide experiences for children and adults in the local community and beyond.

Since 2010 Gallery One has grown to become one of Queensland’s premier contemporary fine art galleries and today it is delighted to represent collectable, established, and rising multi-award-winning Australian artists who have won major Australian competitions. Head over from 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and 10:30am to 4pm on Sunday to see all that they have to offer.

The 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace opens at 10am Tuesday through Saturday and is divided into six exhibition spaces that are all linked with each being different in size allowing clients to stroll through many different alcoves. The gallery now represents 100 artists working in a variety of styles and genres ranging from urban and street art to pop art, expressionism, contemporary figurative and abstract to realism, surrealism and pop surrealism, and everything in between. Better yet they are all enmeshed in one massive white structure and carefully inserted into a 700 square meter converted warehouse with high ceilings and haloed in light similar to a shrine.

In 1888 the Royal Queensland Art Society was founded when a group of committed Brisbane artists gathered to show off their work. Those five or six performers were the most well-known at the time and were known as the Queensland Art Society. Today you can head over from 10am to 3pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 5pm on weekends to see all that they have on display.

Dalozzo Art was established in 1996 and is one of the longest-running commercial art galleries near you and they are open from 10am to 4pm daily.
