The National Museum Of Art of Romania is open from 10am to 6pm Wednesday through Sunday and can be found at the Royal Palace on Revolution Square in the heart of the city. It contains collections of medieval and modern Romanian art as well as an international collection assembled by the Romanian royal family.
H’art Gallery was Romania’s second portfolio private-run gallery after being inaugurated in late 2002. The primary purpose is to promote new contemporary art and to strengthen the art market environment and you can see what they have to offer from 3pm to 6pm Wednesday through Friday.
You can visit Galateca Gallery from noon to 8pm Tuesday through Friday and from 11am to 7pm on Saturday.
Atelier 030202 is a contemporary art venue for young visual artists that are interested in experimentation, visual idea, and new media located in the New Hall of the Comedy Theater.
Anca Poterașu Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that is open from 3pm to 7pm Thursday through Saturday which was founded in May 2011 with a mission to encourage modern Romanian artists. Both established and emerging artists working in a variety of mediums like painting, drawing, art objects, and more are exhibited.
Zorzini F Gallery is open from noon to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday and it began in 2012 focusing on contemporary art and regularly exhibits both Romanian or foreign projects while working with both recognized and young artists who adhere to the gallery’s aesthetic goal.
You can check out Art Yourself Gallery from noon to 7pm Tuesday through Friday and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday to see a cool spot that is dedicated to promoting modern art.
Inaugurated in May 2012, Aiurart is a space dedicated to contemporary art from transversal artistic projects through means of expression or experimental interdisciplinary projects to painting, sculpture, installations, and video art. To date Aiurart has organized over 50 exhibitions including group exhibitions with international artists making it one of the most active centers of contemporary art near you in recent years.
Annart Gallery is a private art gallery that was founded in 2011 to promote Romanian contemporary art. Head over from 1pm to 7pm Tuesday through Friday and from 11am to 4pm on Saturday to see all that they have on display.
